Pressed CDs are of almost least concern. In spite of the article’s assertion, I’ve had more DVDs fail than CDs.
And to give an idea of how bad the “burned” light sensitivity is, DVD-Rs that get indirect sunlight can fail to the point where drives no longer even recognize THE MEDIA, much less can read what’s on it, in 4-8 weeks of indirect daylight. Keep anything you want next year in opaque storage, kids.
