- Magnetico, a personal torrent search engine that can’t be shut down. It works by polling DHT servers. Hacker News commenters note (and the author concurs) that it’s a bit obnoxious on the BitTorrent network, at least unless and until BEP 51 (DHT hash indexing) can be implemented. If you think you’re up to installing a pile of Python scripts by hand, you should be able to try this out.
