- Why rappers like Joy Division. An article with an obnoxiously Guardian premise (gosh, those black people listening to post-punk bands! That never happened!) but some informative usefulness. None of this has anything sounding even slightly of Joy Division, but it’s probably all witch house. Danny Brown is pretty good abrasive blare even as I can’t understand a word.
