IMAAD WASIF: So Long Mr. Fear (Sonic Ritual) — way less rockish than Wasif’s previous solo records or his Folk Implosion work. Eventually indie folk rockers make it clear which Beatle they modeled their approach on. Wasif’s is John Lennon’s solo records. He’s got a great voice, and the singles are catchy buggers. Worth a spin. Below: “Fader”, “So Long Mr. Fear”. This album came out late in 2022, but is getting freshly re-promoted for the vinyl version, which is out on 24 February.
